Telescopic Sliding Gate

The Madoors USA Telescopic Sliding Gate is a motorized automatic sliding gate system engineered for wide entrance openings where insufficient run-back space prevents the installation of a conventional single-panel sliding gate — using two, three, four, or five gate panels moving simultaneously at different relative speeds to achieve the maximum clear opening width within the minimum available side room. With each panel traveling at a different speed calibrated so that all panels reach their final stacked position simultaneously, the telescopic gate delivers significantly faster opening and closing speeds than equivalent-width single-panel gates, reduces the required parking space by a fraction of the full gate width, and provides smooth, trouble-free operation through a unique slide rail system with pulleys and cables designed specifically for telescopic sliding gate mechanism.

Available for applications from 400 kg to 6,000 kg gate weight, in medium to heavy duty configurations, with electromechanical gear motor drive, sand-blasted hot-dip galvanized and painted finish, manual operation in case of power failure, and pedestrian access hinged side panel option — the Madoors USA telescopic sliding gate is custom manufactured to specific site requirements and is the standard solution for industrial, commercial, and residential driveway entrances where wide opening and limited side clearance are simultaneously required.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The Madoors USA Telescopic Sliding Gate is available in 2, 3, 4, and 5-leaf configurations for single-slide motion — with all panels traveling in the same direction and stacking in the available side room alongside the opening. The panel count is selected based on the opening width, available run-back space, and required stacked depth — with more panels allowing wider openings within the same run-back depth.

Each telescopic gate panel moves at a different speed through the specially designed telescopic mechanism with slide rail, pulleys, and cables — with the outermost panel traveling at the highest speed and innermost at the lowest. All panels reach their final stacked position simultaneously regardless of their individual travel distances. This synchronized simultaneous arrival eliminates the sequential panel stacking delay of non-synchronized telescopic systems and maximizes gate opening speed.

Electromechanical gear motors cover the weight range from 400 kg to 6,000 kg — serving light commercial driveway gates at the lower end through to heavy industrial facility main entrance gates at the upper end. Motor selection is based on the total gate leaf weight, required opening speed, daily cycle rate, and ambient temperature range of the specific installation.

Gate construction options include sand blasting, hot-dip galvanizing, and painting — providing the surface treatment sequence required for long-term corrosion resistance in outdoor exposed environments. Various industrial gate panel designs are available to match the architectural and security requirements of each client.

Partial opening is easily achieved — allowing a single leaf or reduced panel opening for personnel access or low-volume traffic periods without operating the full gate travel. Interlock with an entrance boom barrier as additional safety is available. Hinged side panel for pedestrian access is available as a standard option.

KEY FEATURES
Multiple Panel Simultaneous Operation — Maximum Opening Speed
All telescopic gate panels move simultaneously from the moment the open command is issued — not sequentially — with each panel traveling at its individually calibrated speed so that all panels arrive at the stacked position at the same time. This simultaneous multi-panel operation delivers a significantly faster effective opening speed than a single-panel gate of equivalent total width, as the widest panel opens completely in the same time that a single-panel gate would require to travel the full opening width.

2 to 5 Leaf Configurations — Any Width, Minimum Run-Back
Two to five leaf configurations allow the telescopic gate to cover any entrance opening width while requiring only a fraction of the equivalent full-width single-panel run-back space. A 5-leaf telescopic gate requires approximately one-fifth of the run-back space of a single-panel gate covering the same opening — making the telescopic system the only practical solution for wide industrial and commercial entrances with severely constrained side clearance.

Unique Slide Rail, Pulley & Cable Mechanism
The telescopic panel relative speed relationship is achieved through a purpose-designed slide rail mechanism with pulleys and cables — providing smooth, efficient transmission of the different panel speeds from a single motor drive without requiring separate drive motors for each panel. This mechanical relative speed system is inherently reliable, requires minimal maintenance, and operates consistently across temperature extremes and contamination conditions that would affect electronic speed control systems.

400 to 6,000 kg Motor Range — Medium to Heavy Duty
The electromechanical gear motor range from 400 to 6,000 kg covers the complete spectrum of telescopic sliding gate applications — from residential driveway gates at 400 to 800 kg through to medium-duty commercial facility gates at 800 to 2,000 kg and heavy industrial main entrance gates at 2,000 to 6,000 kg. Motor selection at the correct weight rating for the specific gate ensures reliable operation across the specified daily cycle rate without motor overloading or premature drive system wear.

Partial Opening Capability
Partial opening allows a single leaf or reduced panel travel to be commanded for personnel access or low-volume traffic without operating the full gate to maximum open position. This partial opening capability reduces the gate cycle time for personnel-only access events and reduces the total motor run time for low-traffic periods — directly extending motor and mechanism service life at high-cycle installations.

Sand Blasting, Hot-Dip Galvanizing & Painting
The three-stage surface treatment sequence — sand blasting to remove mill scale and surface contamination, hot-dip galvanizing for comprehensive corrosion protection throughout the steel section, and painting with UV-resistant topcoat — provides the highest available surface treatment durability for outdoor exposed sliding gate structures in the corrosive environments of coastal, industrial, and urban locations.

Hinged Side Panel — Pedestrian Access
An optional hinged side panel provides dedicated pedestrian access through the gate line without requiring the full telescopic gate to cycle — maintaining security control at the vehicle entrance while providing convenient, independently operated pedestrian access for site personnel, visitors, and delivery personnel.

Boom Barrier Interlock — Additional Safety
Integration with an entrance boom barrier provides an additional layer of access control safety — preventing vehicle movement through the gate opening until both the gate and the barrier have confirmed authorized access, and preventing the gate from closing onto a vehicle still in the opening. Boom barrier interlock is particularly valuable at high-security industrial and commercial entrances where tailgating prevention is an operational priority.

Manual Operation — Power Failure Independence
The gate can be manually operated in the event of mains power failure — maintaining access control capability without electrical supply and preventing the gate from being locked in either the open or closed position during a power outage. Manual operation is engaged through the standard manual release mechanism without requiring special tools.

Trouble-Free Smooth Operation — Long Life, Minimum Maintenance
The unique slide rail, pulley, and cable telescopic mechanism provides inherently smooth, trouble-free operation with minimum maintenance requirements across the full service life of the gate — with the mechanical relative speed system eliminating the electrical and electronic components that create the majority of maintenance events in alternative telescopic gate drive configurations.

Custom Manufactured to Site Requirements
Every Madoors USA Telescopic Sliding Gate is custom manufactured to the specific site requirements — opening width, available run-back space, gate height, panel count, leaf weight, surface finish, panel design, motor specification, and access control interface — ensuring that the delivered gate system precisely matches the dimensional, structural, operational, and aesthetic requirements of each installation.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION SEQUENCE
Site Survey & Panel Configuration Selection
Opening width, available run-back space on the slide side, gate height, panel count — 2 to 5 leaves — total gate weight estimate, daily cycle rate, and power supply position are confirmed. Motor weight rating, surface treatment specification, panel design, and access control interface requirements are determined.

Foundation & Track Installation
Foundation positions for the gate post, drive unit, and track are prepared. The slide rail track is installed along the gate travel path — from the closed position through to the full stacked open position. Track alignment, level, and structural connection to the foundation are verified.

Gate Panel Fabrication & Surface Treatment
Gate panels are fabricated to the confirmed dimensions in the specified panel design. Sand blasting, hot-dip galvanizing, and painting are applied in sequence. Panel structural connection points for the pulley and cable telescopic mechanism are fitted.

Pulley, Cable & Telescopic Mechanism Assembly
The slide rail pulley and cable telescopic mechanism is assembled across all gate panels — with pulley ratios and cable routing configured to achieve the correct relative speed ratio for each panel's travel distance so that all panels arrive at the stacked position simultaneously.

Gate Panel Installation on Track
Assembled and surface-treated gate panels are hung on the slide rail track. Panel alignment, travel along the track, and panel-to-panel gap in the closed position are verified. Track wheel or sliding element engagement with the rail is confirmed for smooth, low-friction travel.

Electromechanical Drive Motor Installation & Connection
The electromechanical gear motor is installed at the specified drive position. Motor connection to the gate drive mechanism is made. Power supply and control wiring connections are completed. Manual release mechanism is verified.

Boom Barrier Interlock & Pedestrian Gate Installation
Boom barrier interlock wiring is connected and interlock logic is configured and tested. Pedestrian hinged side panel is installed and verified for independent operation.

Access Control & Safety System Installation
Access control interfaces — remote controls, card readers, keypads, loop detectors — are installed and connected. Safety sensor responses — obstruction detection, auto-reverse, and emergency stop — are tested and calibrated. Partial opening function is programmed and tested.

Relative Speed Calibration & Simultaneous Arrival Testing
Individual panel speeds are calibrated through the pulley and cable mechanism adjustment. Simultaneous arrival of all panels at the stacked open position is verified through multiple complete open and close cycles. Gate opening and closing speed is measured and confirmed against the specification.

Operational Testing & Handover
Complete operational testing across all access control inputs, safety sensor responses, partial opening, boom barrier interlock, pedestrian gate, and manual operation is conducted. Installation handover documentation is completed.
