Opening Assessment & Door Specification
Opening width and height, application sector, ATEX zone classification where applicable, chemical compatibility requirements, cycle rate specification, and access control or traffic detection interface requirements are confirmed. PVC curtain material specification, guide track configuration, and drive system are selected for the specific application.

Guide Track & Header Structure Installation
Guide tracks are installed on both sides of the opening and secured to the surrounding wall structure. Track alignment, plumb, and parallel spacing are verified across the full curtain travel height. The drive unit housing is installed at the header position.

Drive System & Motor Installation
The drive motor and winding system are installed within the header housing. For ATEX applications, all electrical components are verified as correctly rated for the zone classification before installation. Drive unit electrical connection is made and verified.

PVC Curtain Installation & Track Threading
The PVC curtain is installed on the drive system and threaded into the guide tracks on both sides. Curtain travel, guide track engagement, and bottom seal contact at the closed position are verified across the full opening width.

Control System & Detection Device Installation
The door control system is installed and connected. Vehicle and personnel detection devices — inductive loops, radar sensors, or push-button activation — are installed and connected. ATEX-rated detection and control hardware is verified for zone compliance where applicable.
