The Madoors USA Cantilever Trackless Railless Sliding Gate is an automatic motorized, ground-track-free sliding gate system engineered for residential, commercial, and industrial applications where ground tracks are impractical, undesirable, or impossible to install — providing the full security, automation, and aesthetic benefits of a sliding gate without the ongoing maintenance, cleaning, and obstruction issues of conventional track-based systems. Available in single-leaf clear widths of 3 to 12 meters and double-leaf configurations up to 19 meters, with heights from 1 to 3 meters, custom AutoCAD-designed panel configurations, duragal pre-galvanized steel frame construction, and FAAC, BFT, or Madoors gate operator options, the cantilever gate delivers security, elegance, and operational convenience across the full range of residential, commercial, port, airport, and industrial site applications.
The cantilever mechanism suspends the gate leaf from a counterbalanced support structure on one side of the opening — with no rail in the road surface where dirt, leaves, ice, and snow can accumulate and cause operational problems. Smoothly running wheels make the gate easy to open and close, and the gate is prepared for electric drive and remote control as standard. Gates of 1.5 meters height and above are finished with serrated strip or bevelled bars, and the design incorporates no diagonal braces that an intruder could use to climb over the gate.

The Madoors USA Cantilever Sliding Gate is available in the following configurations. Single-leaf gates provide clear opening widths from 3 to 12 meters. Double-leaf gates provide clear opening widths up to 19 meters — the largest available cantilever gate configuration without intermediate ground support. Gate height ranges from 1 to 3 meters. Custom heights and widths beyond these ranges are available on request.
The gate frame is manufactured from duragal pre-galvanized steel — providing corrosion resistance from the point of manufacture without requiring post-production galvanizing or extensive surface preparation before powder coating. Powder coating is applied in any specified color, with modular construction enabling different color schemes on different gate elements to complement company house styles or residential design preferences.
The cantilever system uses smoothly running support wheels at the rear post position to carry the gate leaf without any ground contact at the opening — the gate hangs from and slides on the cantilever support structure rather than rolling on a ground track. This trackless configuration eliminates all track maintenance, track cleaning, track damage from vehicle tires, and track obstruction by ice and snow — providing year-round, all-weather reliable operation without the operational management overhead of conventional track systems.
Electric drive options cover three categories — simple residential applications, light industrial applications, and heavy industrial applications — with FAAC, BFT, and Madoors gate operators available across all three categories. All electrically driven gates include anti-crushing safety devices as standard. The absence of diagonal bracing makes the gate panel face significantly more difficult to climb than conventionally braced gate panels of equivalent height, improving perimeter security at the gate position without requiring additional topping or secondary anti-climb measures.
Serrated Strip or Bevelled Bars — Anti-Climb Crown Deterrence
Gates of 1.5 meters height and above are finished with a serrated strip or bevelled bars at the crown — providing active anti-climb deterrence at the top of the gate panel and significantly increasing the difficulty and risk of any climbing attempt over the gate crown, even for an intruder who has managed to reach the top of the gate panel face.
Three Drive Categories — Residential to Heavy Industrial
Three electric drive categories cover the full range of operational duty cycle and gate weight requirements — simple drives for residential and light-use applications, light industrial drives for medium-cycle commercial and business premise applications, and heavy industrial drives for high-cycle logistics, port, airport, and industrial facility applications. Anti-Crushing Safety Devices — All Electric Gates
All electrically driven Madoors USA cantilever gates include anti-crushing safety devices as standard — detecting obstruction of the gate travel path and halting or reversing gate movement to prevent injury to persons or damage to vehicles in the gate travel zone. Anti-crushing protection is a mandatory safety requirement for all automated gate systems under applicable electrical machinery safety standards.
AutoCAD Custom Design — Any Panel Configuration
All cantilever gate designs are drawn up using AutoCAD, providing precise technical drawings for client review and approval before fabrication commences. The full range of panel infill configurations is available — bar grill, scrolls, spears, angle, louver, blade, timber slat, timber/steel picket, aluminium/steel slat, laser cut panels, perforated mesh, and Alucabond sheeting — in modern, contemporary, ornate, or traditional design styles. Custom client designs are accommodated — clients can submit preferred designs for replication in the AutoCAD design and manufacturing process.
Duragal Pre-Galvanized Steel Frame
The gate frame is manufactured from duragal pre-galvanized steel, providing inherent corrosion resistance throughout the frame cross-section from the point of manufacture. Duragal's pre-galvanized coating protects all cut edges and welded joints against corrosion — providing superior long-term weather resistance compared to post-production galvanizing on structural sections.
Powder Coating — Custom Color
Powder coating in any specified color is applied over the duragal frame, providing a durable, UV-resistant, fade-resistant surface finish in the client's preferred color or company house style color scheme. ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION SEQUENCE
Site Survey & Gate Configuration
Entrance opening width, available cantilever support space alongside the opening, ground surface type, slope conditions, and access control system requirements are assessed. Gate width, height, panel design, color, and operator category are confirmed. AutoCAD design drawings are prepared and reviewed with the client before fabrication.
Cantilever Post Foundation
The cantilever support post foundation is excavated and concrete-filled at the specified position alongside the opening. Foundation depth and concrete volume are calculated for the cantilever moment arm load of the specified gate width and leaf weight. The post anchor bolts are set to the engineering specification and concrete achieves full design strength before post installation.
Cantilever Support Post Installation
The cantilever support post is installed on the foundation anchor bolts, aligned, and torqued to the specified installation settings. Post plumb and alignment are verified in both plan and elevation before gate leaf installation.
Gate Leaf Fabrication & Finishing
The gate leaf is fabricated to the confirmed AutoCAD design in duragal pre-galvanized steel with the specified panel infill configuration. Powder coating in the specified color is applied. Anti-climb serrated strip or bevelled bars are fitted to the gate crown for gates of 1.5 meters and above.
Gate Leaf Installation on Cantilever Carriage
The fabricated gate leaf is installed on the cantilever carriage wheel system at the support post. Gate leaf balance, travel alignment, and smoothness of carriage wheel operation across the full open-to-closed travel range are verified and adjusted.
Electric Drive Installation & Commissioning
The specified FAAC, BFT, or Madoors gate operator is installed at the specified drive position on the support post or adjacent structure. The drive is connected to the gate leaf and the facility electrical supply. Travel limits — full open and full close — are set and verified. Anti-crushing safety device sensitivity is calibrated and tested.
Access Control Interface & Pedestrian Gate Installation
Access control interfaces — key switch, remote control, card reader, keypad, intercom, or other — are installed and connected to the gate operator. Matching pedestrian gate is installed with the specified lock, strike, and control hardware. All access control functions are tested and verified.
Final Testing & Handover
Complete operational testing is conducted across all drive, safety, and access control functions. Anti-climb security features — no diagonal brace panel and serrated crown — are inspected. All parts and workmanship guarantee documentation is compiled and installation handover is completed.
