TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS & STANDARDS
Madoors USA bunker and shelter systems are designed and tested in conformance with the following international standards.

STANAG 2280 / NATO — the military standard for blast resistance, applied to all military base, ammunition depot, and government facility bunker installations. ASTM F2927-12 — the US standard for blast-resistant doors and structures, covering door and structural component performance under dynamic blast loading. EN 13123 / EN 13124 — European blast classification standards for explosion-resistant windows, doors, and building elements. DIN 4102 and EN 13501 — fire resistance test standards governing the fire containment performance of bunker structural elements and doors. ISO 22301 — the emergency and business continuity management standard, applied to bunker design to ensure operational continuity capability during and after emergency events. NBC Filter Standards DIN 58600 and MIL-STD-188 — governing the performance of nuclear, biological, and chemical air filtration systems installed in shelter HVAC infrastructure.

Blast-resistant bunker doors are available up to BR7 ballistic resistance — the highest EN 1522 ballistic protection level, covering 7.62mm × 51 NATO rifle rounds — in addition to the primary blast overpressure resistance certification under STANAG 2280 and ASTM F2927-12. Gas-tight door and wall construction prevents the penetration of toxic gas, chemical agents, and NBC-contaminated air into the shelter interior.

NBC filtration systems combining HVAC, HEPA filtration, and activated carbon filtration provide clean, filtered air supply to the shelter interior against nuclear fallout particulates, biological aerosols, and chemical vapor agents.

KEY FEATURES
Blast & Shock Wave Resistance — NATO, ASTM & EN Certified
All Madoors USA bunker structures and doors are tested and certified to NATO STANAG 2280, ASTM F2927-12, and EN 13123/13124 blast resistance standards — providing independently verified blast overpressure and shock wave resistance for the most demanding military, government, and private shelter applications. Multi-standard certification ensures compliance with the specific procurement standards of every national and institutional client.

NBC Protection — Nuclear, Biological & Chemical Filtration
Integrated NBC filtration systems provide protection against nuclear fallout, biological aerosol, and chemical vapor threats — the primary non-kinetic hazards in military conflict and industrial emergency scenarios. The HVAC system incorporating HEPA filtration and activated carbon filters to DIN 58600 and MIL-STD-188 standards maintains clean, NBC-free air supply inside the shelter for the full duration of an external NBC threat event.

Gas-Tight Doors & Structural Envelope
Gas-tight door and wall construction prevents toxic gas, chemical agents, and NBC-contaminated external air from penetrating the shelter interior — maintaining a protected atmospheric environment for occupants throughout an NBC event. Gas-tight sealing is a standard design feature of all Madoors USA shelter door and structural envelope systems.

Fire Resistance — DIN 4102 & EN 13501
Structural elements and doors are tested to DIN 4102 and EN 13501 fire resistance standards, providing certified fire containment performance for shelter occupants during fire scenarios — whether caused by external bombardment, industrial accident, or natural disaster. Fire resistance complements blast resistance in providing a complete structural protection envelope.

Earthquake, Flood & Fire Safety
The Madoors USA bunker structure is engineered for natural disaster scenarios including seismic loading, flooding, and fire — providing protection against the full range of emergency events that may render above-ground accommodation unsafe or uninhabitable. Structural design accounts for earthquake ground acceleration, hydrostatic flood pressure, and fire thermal loading simultaneously.

ISO 22301 — Emergency & Business Continuity
Bunker design conforming to ISO 22301 ensures that essential operational continuity functions — communications, data access, power supply, water, food, and hygiene — are maintained throughout and beyond the emergency event, allowing occupants to remain operational rather than simply surviving the immediate threat.

Blast-Resistant Bunker Doors — Up to BR7
Madoors USA blast-resistant bunker doors provide both primary blast overpressure resistance under STANAG 2280 and ASTM F2927-12 and optional ballistic protection up to BR7 — the highest available EN 1522 ballistic resistance level. This dual blast and ballistic certification provides a complete access point protection system for the most demanding military and government bunker applications.

Advanced HVAC — HEPA + Activated Carbon Air Filtration
The shelter HVAC system provides NBC-filtered, temperature-controlled, humidity-managed interior air quality for the full occupancy duration of the shelter — supporting occupant health, comfort, and operational capability throughout an extended emergency event. HEPA filtration captures nuclear fallout and biological particulates while activated carbon filtration removes chemical vapors.

Underground Living Areas — Bedrooms, Kitchen, Storage, Cinema, Pool & Sauna
For private villa and luxury bunker applications, Madoors USA designs and installs fully appointed underground living areas — bedrooms, kitchens, food storage, entertainment facilities including cinema rooms, and wellness facilities including pool and sauna — providing long-term living comfort for extended occupancy periods without dependence on external services.

Long-Term Life Support — Water, Energy & Food Storage
Madoors USA bunkers incorporate water storage systems, independent energy generation and storage, and food stock areas sized for the specified occupancy duration — providing fully self-sufficient long-term habitation capability without external supply dependence for the complete emergency occupancy period.

Luxury Bunker & Fast-Install Modular Shelter Options
Two primary configuration options serve different client requirements. Luxury custom bunkers are fully bespoke underground shelter facilities designed and fitted to the client's specification — combining maximum blast and NBC protection with premium living accommodation. Fast-install modular shelters provide rapidly deployable, certified blast-resistant shelter capability for military, government, and institutional clients where installation speed is the priority requirement.

On-Site Inspection & Turnkey Installation
Madoors USA provides complete turnkey bunker delivery — from initial on-site inspection, geotechnical assessment, and structural design through to full installation, systems commissioning, and operational handover. This turnkey approach eliminates client management of multiple specialist contractors and ensures that every element of the bunker system — structural, mechanical, electrical, filtration, and door — is engineered and installed as an integrated, certified protection system.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION SEQUENCE
On-Site Inspection & Geotechnical Assessment
The site is inspected by Madoors USA engineers — assessing ground conditions, water table depth, seismic zone classification, flood risk, existing structural constraints, and access for construction equipment. Geotechnical investigation is commissioned where required to confirm soil bearing capacity and groundwater levels for underground construction design.

Structural Engineering Design
The bunker structural design is engineered to the confirmed blast resistance standard — STANAG 2280, ASTM F2927-12, or EN 13123 as applicable — with wall, roof, and floor slab thicknesses, reinforcement specification, and door frame anchorage all determined by the blast and natural disaster loading analysis. NBC filtration, HVAC, water storage, power, and communications systems are engineered as integrated components of the design.

Excavation & Foundation Works
Excavation is completed to the confirmed bunker depth and plan dimensions. The reinforced concrete base slab and perimeter foundation are constructed to the engineering specification, with embedded conduits for all services penetrations and door frame anchor positions cast into the concrete.

Structural Slab & Wall Construction
Reinforced concrete walls and roof slab are constructed to the blast resistance specification. All structural concrete achieves the specified compressive strength before further construction proceeds. Waterproofing membranes are applied to all below-grade external surfaces. Service penetrations through the structural envelope are fitted with gas-tight sealing systems.

Blast-Resistant Door & Gas-Tight Door Installation
Blast-resistant bunker doors and gas-tight doors are installed in the prepared structural openings at all access points. Frame-to-structure anchorage is completed to the blast-rated fixing specification. Gas-tight seals are verified for continuous contact across the full door perimeter.

NBC Filtration & HVAC System Installation NBC filtration units — HEPA and activated carbon filter banks — are installed within the shelter HVAC system. Air intake and exhaust penetrations through the structural envelope are fitted with blast-rated valves and gas-tight seals. The complete HVAC and NBC filtration system is commissioned and verified for filter performance and airflow specification.

Power, Water & Life Support Systems Installation
Independent power generation and battery storage systems are installed and commissioned. Water storage tanks are installed and connected to the shelter water distribution system. Food storage areas, hygiene units, and communications infrastructure are fitted and commissioned.
