Bulletproof Garage Door, Bullet Resistant Industrial Sectional Door

The Madoors USA Bulletproof Garage Door and Bullet Resistant Industrial Sectional Door range covers custom-built, motor-operated ballistic-resistant sectional doors, sliding doors, and swing-type doors for military, diplomatic, institutional, and corporate high-security facilities — available at NIJ Level I through Level IV and UL 752 certified protection levels, with optional blast resistance, and designed in both commercial flush panel and residential raised panel exterior appearances. Proven in delivered installations at Military Base and military building projects, the Madoors USA bulletproof sectional door combines certified ballistic performance with the visual appearance of a standard commercial or residential garage door — providing maximum security without externally signaling the presence of ballistic protection.

Panels are 4 inches (100mm) thick, fully insulated, motor operated with backup chain hoist, finished with custom RAL color powder coating, and available in vertical lift, high lift, and standard lift track configurations depending on available headroom. Door panels are shipped zinc-primed and ready for field painting where specified.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Madoors USA Bulletproof Garage and Industrial Sectional Doors are available at the following NIJ ballistic protection levels with corresponding test ammunition specifications.

NIJ Level I — protection against .22 LRHV Lead and .38 Special Lead rounds. Suited to light security applications requiring basic handgun protection at lower threat levels.

NIJ Level II — protection against .357 Magnum Lead SWC and 9mm FMJ rounds. Suited to commercial and institutional security applications where standard handgun and 9mm pistol threats are the primary concern.

NIJ Level III — protection against 7.62mm FMJ and .308 Winchester FMJ rifle rounds. Suited to military support facilities, government buildings, and institutional high-security applications where rifle-caliber threats must be addressed.

NIJ Level IV — protection against .30-06 Armor Piercing rounds — the highest NIJ protection level available, covering armor-piercing rifle ammunition. Proven in delivery to Military Base specification, where the sectional door was built to withstand .30-06 AP rounds.

UL 752 certification is available alongside NIJ level ratings, providing American standard ballistic performance documentation for US procurement specifications.

Blast resistance is available as an additional design option for applications requiring combined ballistic and blast overpressure protection — suited to ammunition depot access doors, military facility vehicle entrances, and petrochemical facility doors where both explosion and ballistic threats must be addressed simultaneously.

Door panel construction is 4 inches (100mm) thick, providing the structural depth required for ballistic steel and insulation layer accommodation within the panel cross-section. Full thermal insulation maintains building interior climate control and reduces heating and cooling energy costs at insulated door installations. Smooth flush exterior appearance with overlapping seams is standard for commercial and industrial applications. Residential raised panel exterior appearance is available for installations where the ballistic nature of the door must not be externally apparent.

Motor operation is standard with backup chain hoist providing continued operation during motor failure or power outage. Track configuration options include standard lift, high lift, and vertical lift — accommodating different headroom availability above the door opening at each specific installation. Custom RAL color powder coating is available across the full RAL color range.

KEY FEATURES
NIJ Level I to Level IV — Full Protection Range
The complete NIJ ballistic protection level range from Level I through Level IV is available within the Madoors USA bulletproof garage door manufacturing capability — covering .22 LR and .38 Special at Level I through .30-06 Armor Piercing at Level IV. This complete range allows a single supplier to provide the correct certified ballistic protection level for every military, government, and institutional application without product substitution between protection level requirements.

.30-06 Armor Piercing Resistance — Military Proven
The NIJ Level IV configuration providing protection against .30-06 Armor Piercing rounds is the highest available protection level in the Madoors USA sectional door range — proven in a delivered installation at a Military Base where the door was built to full military specification. Armor-piercing rifle protection at this level satisfies the most stringent military facility vehicle entrance and ammunition storage access door specifications.

UL 752 Certified — Heavy Duty Hardware
The bullet-resistant insulated sectional door carries UL 752 certification with heavy-duty hardware throughout, providing American standard ballistic performance verification alongside the NIJ level certification. UL 752 certification with heavy-duty hardware satisfies US government, defense, and institutional procurement specifications for certified bullet-resistant industrial doors.

Blast Resistance Option
Blast and bullet resistant capability can be combined in a single door design, providing simultaneous ballistic and blast overpressure protection for applications at military facilities, ammunition depots, petrochemical plants, and government buildings where both explosion and ballistic attack scenarios must be addressed by the door specification.

Commercial Flush Panel & Residential Raised Panel Designs
Two exterior appearance options are available — commercial flush panel with smooth finish and overlapping seams for industrial and commercial facilities, and residential raised panel appearance for installations where the ballistic nature of the door must not be externally visible. The residential appearance configuration provides full NIJ Level I, II, and III protection in a door that is visually indistinguishable from a standard residential garage door — providing covert ballistic protection for diplomatic residences, corporate facilities, and institutional buildings where security discretion is a design requirement.

4-Inch (100mm) Panel Thickness — Insulated Construction
The 100mm panel thickness provides the structural cross-section required for ballistic steel and insulation layer integration within a single panel, delivering certified ballistic performance and thermal insulation in a panel of manageable thickness for standard sectional door track configurations. The insulated construction maintains building interior temperature control and reduces energy costs at all insulated door installations.

Motor Operation with Backup Chain Hoist
Standard motor operation provides automated opening and closing for vehicle access management, with the backup chain hoist ensuring continued manual operation capability during motor failure or power outage events — a critical operational resilience requirement for security facility vehicle entrances where access must be maintained regardless of electrical infrastructure status.

Vertical Lift, High Lift & Standard Lift Track Options
Three track configuration options accommodate different headroom availability above the door opening — standard lift for installations with adequate overhead clearance, high lift for installations requiring greater clear height in the open position, and vertical lift for installations where the overhead structure requires the door to travel vertically rather than following the standard arcing lift path. Track configuration selection ensures optimum use of available headroom without structural modification of the building above the opening.

Custom RAL Color — Zinc Primed for Field Painting
The full RAL color range is available for custom powder coating, allowing the door finish to be specified to match facility branding, architectural color schemes, or military camouflage requirements. Door panels are shipped zinc-primed and ready for field painting where on-site color application is preferred — providing installation flexibility for large-format industrial door panels that are difficult to paint in the factory and ship without finish damage.

Sliding Door, Swing Door & Sectional Door Configurations
In addition to the primary sectional garage door format, the Madoors USA bulletproof door range includes sliding door and swing-type door configurations — covering the full range of opening types and operational requirements at military, government, and institutional facilities where the sectional format is not appropriate for the specific structural opening geometry or operational requirement.

INSTALLATION SEQUENCE
Opening Assessment & Protection Level Selection
Opening width and height, available headroom, track configuration requirement — standard, high, or vertical lift — NIJ protection level, blast resistance requirement, exterior appearance specification, and motor and control system requirements are confirmed. RAL color or zinc-prime field-paint finish is specified.

Track Installation
The specified track configuration — standard, high lift, or vertical lift — is installed at the opening header and side jamb positions. Track alignment and structural fixing integrity are verified against the panel weight and ballistic steel construction loading.

Panel Section Installation
Bulletproof insulated panel sections are installed onto the track from the bottom section upward, with each section connected to the adjacent section using the heavy-duty hardware joining system. Panel alignment, section joint overlap, and track engagement are verified at each section before proceeding to the next.

Motor Drive & Backup Chain Hoist Installation
The motor operator is installed at the specified drive position. Backup chain hoist is connected to the door drive system. Motor travel limits, open and close positions, and backup chain hoist manual release function are set and verified.

Safety System & Access Control Installation
Obstruction detection, safety edges, photo-eyes, and emergency stop systems are installed and connected. Access control interfaces — push-button, card reader, or remote control — are connected to the motor control system and verified.

Field Painting (Zinc-Prime Panels)
Where panels are supplied zinc-primed for field painting, the specified RAL color finish is applied to all exposed panel surfaces after installation is complete and verified.

Certification Documentation Handover
NIJ Level certification documentation, UL 752 certification, and blast resistance engineering documentation as applicable are compiled into the project handover package alongside installation records and motor maintenance schedule.
