TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The Madoors USA Ballistic Bulletproof Revolving Door is constructed with 32mm thick bullet-resistant glass installed across both the curved drum wall panels and the flat door leaf panels — providing continuous AK-47 rated ballistic glazing protection around the full 360-degree perimeter of the drum and across all door leaf surfaces without any unprotected glass panel in the assembly. Ballistic resistance certifications held by the system cover FB4, BR4, BR5, BR6, and BR7 — the European standard EN 1063 ballistic resistance classifications covering the full range from handgun through to high-powered rifle threat levels.

The structural body is manufactured from 304 grade brushed stainless steel, providing the corrosion resistance, surface durability, and premium aesthetic appropriate for high-security entrance installations at corporate, institutional, and government facilities. Optional powder coating in custom colors is available for installations requiring specific color specifications or brand-aligned finish.

Standard door dimensions are available in three configurations. Diameter 1,600mm, height 2,325mm with passage width 660mm and height 2,090mm. Diameter 1,800mm, height 2,325mm with passage width 750mm and height 2,090mm. Diameter 2,300mm, height 2,325mm with passage width 1,400mm and height 2,090mm. Custom dimensions are available on request.

The door is available in three-wing and four-wing configurations. The baseless floor design eliminates the need for a raised floor threshold or recess, simplifying installation at existing entrances. The system is removable and modular, allowing relocation and reconfiguration as security requirements or facility layouts change.

The fully self-managed control system automatically detects incoming and in-transit persons and manages voice command guidance throughout all transit phases — directing users through the revolving door cycle, controlling single-person passage per segment, and managing simultaneous bi-directional traffic without requiring manual operator supervision of each passage.

KEY FEATURES
32mm AK-47 Rated Bullet-Resistant Glass — Full Coverage
The 32mm bullet-resistant glass provides certified AK-47 rated ballistic protection across both the curved drum wall panels and the flat door leaf panels — every glazed surface of the door assembly carries the same ballistic rating with no reduction in protection at panel joints, edges, or frame connections. This full-coverage ballistic glazing ensures that there is no unprotected glass aperture through which a ballistic attack could penetrate the door assembly.

FB4, BR4, BR5, BR6 & BR7 Ballistic Certifications
The system holds ballistic resistance certifications to FB4, BR4, BR5, BR6, and BR7 under European standard EN 1063, covering the full range of handgun and rifle threat levels from FB4 / BR4 — 9mm and .44 Magnum handgun rounds — through to BR7 — 7.62mm × 51 NATO high-powered rifle rounds. Multi-level certification provides procurement flexibility for facilities with different ballistic threat assessments and security specification requirements.

Simultaneous Bi-Directional Traffic — Entry & Exit
The door supports simultaneous bi-directional traffic flow, allowing users to enter and exit the building at the same time through different segments of the revolving door — maintaining high throughput at busy high-security entrances without creating a single-direction queuing bottleneck that would reduce operational efficiency at peak traffic periods.

Single-Person Passage Control Per Segment
The single-person passage checking system controls individual passage on each turnstile segment, detecting and preventing tailgating, piggybacking, and unauthorized multi-person passage through a single door segment — a critical anti-intrusion control requirement for high-security facilities where the revolving door is a primary access control point.

Fully Self-Managed — Automatic Person Detection & Voice Command
The door management system automatically detects incoming and in-transit persons through each revolving door segment and manages voice command guidance throughout all transit phases — directing users through the door cycle, alerting to passage control issues, and managing bi-directional traffic flow without requiring manual operator intervention for each individual passage. This fully self-managed operation reduces the security personnel requirement at the door position while maintaining consistent access control performance.

Access Control Integration — Badge, RFID, NFC & Fingerprint
The system is access control ready with provision for integration of badge readers, RFID readers, NFC readers, and fingerprint scanners, mountable on the external face of the door or on the adjacent column structure. This access control integration capability allows the bulletproof revolving door to function as the primary access control point for the facility — combining ballistic protection with credentialed access control in a single entrance system.

Safety Edges — Entrance Uprights & Leaf Horizontals
Safety edges are fitted on the entrance uprights and door leaf horizontals, detecting contact with users during door rotation and halting movement to prevent entrapment injury — providing active user protection throughout the full rotational cycle of the door, including during the transit of users with mobility aids, luggage, or equipment.

304 Grade Brushed Stainless Steel Construction
The structural frame, drum housing, and visible hardware are manufactured from 304 grade brushed stainless steel — providing long-term corrosion resistance and a premium surface appearance consistent with the high-end architectural environments of corporate headquarters, government buildings, airports, and museums where the bulletproof revolving door is typically installed.

Custom Powder Coating — Optional Color Specification
Optional powder coating in custom colors is available for installations where the brushed stainless steel finish does not match the specific architectural color palette or corporate branding requirements of the facility entrance — providing finish flexibility while maintaining the structural and ballistic performance of the 304 stainless steel substrate.

Three & Four-Wing Configurations
Three-wing and four-wing door configurations are available, with wing count selection determining compartment size, throughput capacity, and luggage accommodation. Four-wing configurations provide higher throughput for high-volume entrances. Three-wing configurations provide larger individual compartments for users with luggage, equipment, or mobility aids.

Baseless Floor Design — Simplified Installation
The baseless floor design eliminates the raised threshold, floor recess, or pit installation required by conventional revolving door systems, significantly simplifying installation at existing entrances — particularly retro-fit installations at operational high-security facilities where floor disruption must be minimized during installation.

Removable & Modular Structure
The removable and modular construction of the door assembly allows the system to be disassembled, relocated, and reconfigured as facility security requirements or entrance layouts change — preserving the investment value of the bulletproof revolving door system across changes in facility use, security specification, or physical layout.

Standard & Custom Dimensions
Three standard diameter configurations — 1,600mm, 1,800mm, and 2,300mm — cover the most common high-security entrance passage width requirements. Custom dimensions are available for non-standard opening widths or passage height requirements, ensuring the system can be specified for any entrance geometry without requiring structural modification of the surrounding wall or floor.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION SEQUENCE
Opening Assessment & Configuration Selection
Entrance opening diameter, available floor area for drum installation, passage width requirement, traffic volume profile, ballistic protection level specification, and access control integration requirements are confirmed. Door diameter, wing count configuration, and access control hardware are selected. Custom color powder coating specification is confirmed where applicable.

Floor Surface Preparation
The installation floor surface is assessed for levelness and load-bearing capacity. The baseless floor design requires only a flat, level floor surface — no floor recess, pit, or threshold preparation is required. Any minor floor leveling remediation is completed before installation commences.

Center Pivot & Drive Unit Installation
The center pivot assembly and motorized automatic drive unit are installed at the floor center point. Drive unit alignment and rotational geometry are verified.

Drum Wall & Ballistic Glazing Installation
The curved drum wall structural panels and 32mm ballistic glass drum wall panels are installed, forming the outer enclosure of the revolving door. Ballistic glass panel joints, edge fixings, and frame connections are verified for structural integrity and ballistic continuity across all panel junctions.

Door Leaf Installation & Ballistic Glass Verification
Three or four door leaf panels — each glazed with 32mm ballistic glass — are installed on the center pivot rotational hardware. Leaf alignment, sweep clearance at floor level, and ballistic glass panel integrity on each leaf are verified. Safety edges on leaf horizontals and entrance uprights are installed and sensor function is tested.

Access Control Hardware Installation
Badge readers, RFID readers, NFC readers, or fingerprint scanners are installed at the specified external face or column mounting positions. All access control hardware is connected to the door management control system and the facility access control infrastructure.

Control System Programming & Commissioning
The fully self-managed control system is programmed for the specific traffic profile, access control rules, and voice command guidance sequence of the installation. Single-person passage detection sensitivity is calibrated. Bi-directional traffic management logic is configured and tested. Voice command guidance is programmed in the required languages for the facility user profile.

Safety System Testing
Safety edge contact detection on entrance uprights and leaf horizontals is tested across multiple passage simulations. Emergency stop, anti-entrapment response, and door reversal functions are tested and verified. Single-person passage detection accuracy is verified across a range of user profiles.

Ballistic Glass Certification Documentation & Handover
Ballistic resistance certification documentation — FB4, BR4, BR5, BR6, and BR7 certificates as applicable — is compiled into the project handover package. Full operational testing across all rotation modes, access control functions, safety systems, and voice command guidance is completed. Installation handover documentation is provided.
