Three primary motor and drive configurations are available. Pivot post-mounted motors are attached directly to the gate posts and operate by pivoting to pull the gate leaf open and push it closed. This configuration requires strong, structurally robust gate posts capable of carrying the cantilever load of the gate leaf weight without leaning or deflecting under the lateral forces generated by the motor pivot action during gate operation.
