The Madoors USA TOMRIS Armed Unmanned Robot System is a domestically designed and manufactured tracked military robot platform engineered for armed remote engagement, explosive threat protection, and multi-mission tactical deployment across military, law enforcement, and first responder applications. Capable of carrying and firing all types of light and heavy weapons from a remote operator position with a minimum safe standoff distance of 350 meters — and unlimited range with satellite connectivity — the TOMRIS provides combat-ready firepower, real-time image transmission, and 64x optical zoom infrared night vision targeting without placing a single operator in the line of fire.
The TOMRIS platform is reconfigurable across a wide mission spectrum beyond armed engagement, including chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive threat response (CBRNE/HAZMAT), explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), rescue operations, heavy lift, communications relay, security patrol, reconnaissance, and mine and IED detection — making it one of the most operationally versatile unmanned ground vehicle platforms available for military, special operations, and law enforcement deployment.
Robot weight ranges from 450 kg to 2,500 kg depending on configuration, with 12mm thick steel armor protecting the outer body against gunfire and combat damage. The weapon carrying apparatus and magnetic trigger system are custom manufactured to match the specific weapon type specified by the client.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The TOMRIS is a lightweight, tracked unmanned military robot designed and built entirely by Madoors USA. The tracked platform provides stable, all-terrain ground mobility across the operational environments encountered in military base perimeters, urban combat zones, EOD callout sites, and first responder emergency scenes.
The remote control system provides a minimum operator standoff distance of 350 meters using the standard control system and the robot's own antenna. With access point infrastructure, control range extends to 1,000 meters. With satellite connectivity, operational control range is unlimited — enabling global deployment scenarios and long-range reconnaissance or armed patrol missions beyond the line-of-sight control envelope of conventional ground robot systems.
Real-time image transmission from the robot to the operator is maintained across the full control range, providing continuous situational awareness at the operator's safe position. The primary targeting system is a 64x optical zoom camera with integrated infrared night vision, capable of resolving and magnifying distant targets to a level of detail equivalent to close-range visual engagement — bringing targets at extended range to what the operator sees as gun-barrel proximity on the control display.
The weapon carrying turret mounts on the robot body and rotates under operator control to align the carried weapon with the target. Laser pointing capability allows precision target designation from 200 meters. The weapon apparatus and magnetic trigger mechanism are manufactured to match the specific weapon type — light or heavy — specified for each robot configuration. The outer body is constructed from 12mm thick steel armor providing protection against direct small arms fire and fragmentation during armed engagement operations. Robot weight ranges from 450 kg to 2,500 kg depending on weapon configuration and armor specification.
A sabotage security package is integrated into the robot system, protecting against enemy interference, electronic attack, and physical sabotage attempts targeting the robot during forward deployment.
KEY FEATURES
Armed Remote Engagement — Light & Heavy Weapons
The TOMRIS can carry and operate all types of light and heavy weapons via the gun carrying turret and custom-manufactured weapon apparatus. The magnetic trigger system activates the carried weapon under operator command from the remote control station, enabling the full fire capability of the mounted weapon to be delivered without operator exposure to the target threat zone.
64x Optical Zoom with Infrared Night Vision
The targeting camera provides 64x optical zoom magnification with integrated infrared night vision, delivering 24-hour, all-weather targeting capability. At maximum zoom, distant targets are magnified to gun-barrel proximity on the operator display — enabling precision engagement decisions and accurate targeting at ranges that would otherwise be beyond reliable visual identification capability.
Laser Targeting — 200 Meter Precision Designation
The integrated laser pointing system provides precision target designation from 200 meters, allowing the operator to mark and confirm the specific target point before weapon engagement — increasing first-round hit probability and reducing the risk of unintended engagement of adjacent non-target objects.
350 Meter Minimum Safe Standoff — Operator Protection
The standard control system maintains reliable robot command and image transmission at a minimum operator standoff distance of 350 meters, placing the operator well outside the effective engagement range of most small arms threats and beyond the immediate blast radius of explosive devices being approached for EOD operations.
Unlimited Range — Satellite Connectivity
With satellite connectivity, the TOMRIS control range is unlimited, enabling deployment in scenarios where the operator and robot are separated by distances beyond any line-of-sight or terrestrial relay capability — including long-range reconnaissance patrols, remote perimeter security operations, and cross-terrain armed surveillance missions.
1,000 Meter Range — Access Point & Antenna System
Without satellite connectivity, the TOMRIS extends its control range to 1,000 meters using access point infrastructure and its own integrated antenna system — significantly extending the operational envelope beyond the 350-meter standard range for missions requiring greater standoff in terrain where satellite connectivity is unavailable.
12mm Steel Armor — Gunfight Protection
The outer body of the TOMRIS is constructed from 12mm thick steel armor, protecting all internal systems, drive components, and weapon apparatus from damage by small arms fire and fragmentation during armed engagements. This armor specification is the primary reason for the TOMRIS weight range of 450 kg to 2,500 kg — heavier than non-armored robot platforms but essential for sustained operational survivability in direct combat environments.
Sabotage Security Package
The integrated sabotage security package protects the TOMRIS against enemy interference, electronic attack, and physical sabotage attempts during forward deployment. This system ensures that the robot cannot be captured, reprogrammed, or otherwise turned against its operators by enemy forces in the event of a temporary communication loss or physical approach by hostile personnel.
Custom Weapon Apparatus — Any Weapon Type
The weapon carrying apparatus and magnetic trigger system are manufactured specifically to match the weapon type designated for each robot configuration. This custom manufacturing approach ensures reliable weapon mounting, stable firing position, and positive trigger activation for any light or heavy weapon type specified — eliminating the compatibility compromises of universal mounting systems designed to accept multiple weapon types.
Reconfigurable Multi-Mission Platform
The TOMRIS is reconfigurable across the full range of military and emergency response mission types. Beyond armed engagement, the platform supports CBRNE and HAZMAT threat response, explosive ordnance disposal, rescue and personnel recovery, heavy lift and material transport, communications relay, security patrol, reconnaissance, and mine and IED detection and marking — making it a single platform investment that covers the complete spectrum of unmanned ground vehicle mission requirements.
CBRNE & HAZMAT Response
The TOMRIS can be configured and deployed for chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive threat response and HAZMAT operations — protecting first responder and military personnel from exposure to life-threatening contamination and explosive hazards by substituting the robot for human operators in the immediate threat environment.
Explosive Ordnance Disposal
The TOMRIS EOD configuration supports explosive ordnance disposal operations — approaching, identifying, and neutralizing or recovering explosive devices including improvised explosive devices, unexploded ordnance, and military munitions — from a safe remote operator position that eliminates the risk to EOD personnel present in conventional manual EOD procedures.
Mine & IED Detection
The TOMRIS mine and IED detection configuration supports route clearance, perimeter sweep, and area survey operations for buried mines, surface-laid IEDs, and unexploded ordnance — providing systematic detection coverage across threat areas without exposing personnel to the detonation risk of the devices being detected.
SWAT & Military Police Support
The TOMRIS supports special weapons and tactics operations and military police missions, providing armed remote presence, surveillance, and tactical support capability in hostage rescue, barricade, and high-risk arrest scenarios where deploying human operators into the immediate threat zone would create unacceptable personnel risk.
