Certified to DSTU 3975 Level 6+ and STANAG 4569 Level 3, the booth withstands direct fire from Kalashnikov AKM 7.62mm, Kalashnikov AK-74 5.45mm, Dragunov sniper rifle 7.62mm, and NATO armored rounds with tungsten core — while delivering a fully equipped, climate-controlled, independently powered operational environment for long-term personnel deployment.
Constructed from Miilux Protection 500 special alloyed steel — manufactured in Finland by Miilux Ltd., part of the Miilukangas Group — with a hardness of 500 to 540 HB, multi-layer anti-bullet glass assemblies with PVB film and anti-spall polycarbonate backing, and an anti-spall wall lining that constrains RPG stream defeat angle, the Madoors USA armored guard booth delivers protection performance that no standard prefabricated security booth can match. Standard off-the-shelf configurations are available, with fully customized solutions produced to project-specific dimensions, protection levels, and fitout requirements.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The Madoors USA Armored Guard Booth is constructed from Miilux Protection 500 special alloyed steel, combining ultra-high hardness of 500 to 540 HB with high plasticity — a material combination that provides both the hardness required to defeat armor-piercing projectiles and the ductility required to absorb blast energy without brittle fracture. This steel specification is the primary structural and ballistic protection material of the booth body, walls, roof, and floor structure.
Glazing is constructed as a multi-layer assembly: separate layers of glass assembled with special PVB interlayer film, with an anti-spall polycarbonate layer on the interior face protecting occupants from secondary glass fragment spall generated by ballistic impact on the exterior glazing face. Window frames are specifically designed for rapid glass replacement without special tools, maintaining operational readiness after ballistic glass engagement.
The booth provides certified ballistic protection against the following threat levels. DSTU 3975 Level 6+ and STANAG 4569 Level 3 — covering Kalashnikov AKM caliber 7.62mm armored bullet BZ, Kalashnikov AK-74 caliber 5.45mm bullet 7N10, Dragunov SVD rifle caliber 7.62mm armored bullet B32, and NATO rifle armored rounds with tungsten core.
Standard example body dimensions are 3.7 meters by 2.5 meters by 2.4 meters. All dimensions are fully customizable on a per-project basis. Anti-spall lining in the walls constrains the defeat angle of RPG warhead stream penetration. Special insulating lining provides combined heat and sound insulation. Waterproof and heat-insulated rubber flooring provides thermal insulation against cold and moisture from the ground. The booth incorporates a fully independent electrical system with generator, making it completely autonomous from external power sources.
KEY FEATURES
DSTU 3975 Level 6+ & STANAG 4569 Level 3 Ballistic Certification
The booth is certified to DSTU 3975 Level 6+ and STANAG 4569 Level 3, providing independently verified protection against the most common battlefield rifle threats including AKM 7.62mm BZ armor-piercing rounds, AK-74 5.45mm 7N10 armor-piercing rounds, Dragunov 7.62mm B32 armor-piercing rounds, and NATO tungsten-core armored rifle rounds. This certification level covers the primary direct-fire small arms threats faced by security personnel at military, government, and critical infrastructure guard positions.
Miilux Protection 500 Steel — 500-540 HB
The booth body is constructed from Miilux Protection 500 special alloyed Finnish steel with a hardness of 500 to 540 HB combined with high plasticity — a material specification that defeats armor-piercing projectiles through hardness while absorbing blast overpressure energy through ductile deformation rather than brittle fracture. Manufactured by Miilux Ltd., part of the Miilukangas Group in Finland, this steel represents the highest available commercial ballistic protection plate specification.
Multi-Layer Anti-Bullet Glazing with Anti-Spall Polycarbonate
Window glazing is a multi-layer assembly of glass layers bonded with PVB interlayer film, with an interior anti-spall polycarbonate layer that captures and retains secondary glass fragments generated by ballistic impact — protecting occupants from spall injury that would otherwise occur even when the primary glazing layer defeats the projectile.
RPG Anti-Spall Wall Lining
Anti-spall lining in the booth walls constrains the defeat angle of RPG warhead shaped charge stream penetration, limiting the penetration geometry and protecting occupants from shaped charge jet injury even in the event of a direct RPG impact on the booth exterior.
Rapid Glass Replacement — No Special Tools
Window frames are engineered specifically for rapid glazing replacement without special tools, allowing damaged ballistic glass panels to be exchanged in the field and restoring full ballistic protection capability to the booth without requiring specialized maintenance personnel or equipment.
Blackout Flaps — Non-Flammable Material
Blackout flaps manufactured from non-flammable material are fitted to all windows, allowing the booth to be placed in full blackout mode with zero external light signature — critical for covert security operations and night observation from a protected position.
Metal Window Shields with Observation Slots
Metal shields are fitted to all windows with integrated observation slots, providing an additional ballistic protection layer over the glazing while maintaining a minimum-discernibility surveillance capability in secret service mode — allowing occupants to observe the external area without the booth's interior lighting or personnel being visible from outside.
Spring-Loaded Weapon Ports
Spring-loaded spray gun ports are fitted for easy opening during engagement and are reinforced against forced entry or breakage from the exterior — maintaining the ballistic integrity of the booth wall at each weapon port position.
Indoor Electric Window Heating
All windows are equipped with indoor-controlled electric heating elements that prevent glass freezing and condensation sweating during rapid temperature changes — essential for reliable visibility and glazing integrity in climates with hot days and cold nights or high humidity variations.
Independent Power System with Generator
A fully independent electrical system with integrated generator makes the booth completely autonomous from external power infrastructure. This power independence is a fundamental operational requirement for forward security positions, remote deployment locations, and any installation where external power supply reliability cannot be guaranteed.
Full Climate Control — Air Conditioning & Heating
An air conditioning system maintains comfortable interior temperatures during extreme heat, while a heating system combined with thermally insulated floor and wall construction maintains warmth during cold conditions. This dual climate control capability ensures that personnel can remain operationally effective inside the booth across the full range of environmental conditions encountered at deployment locations worldwide.
Ventilation System — Rear Exit, Weather Protected
A ventilation system with a rear-exit outlet protected against weather ingress provides continuous fresh air circulation independently of the air conditioning and heating systems, maintaining air quality during extended occupancy periods.
Multi-Level Interior Lighting with Service Mode
Interior lighting provides multiple illumination levels for comfortable working conditions, with a service mode delivering minimal light output that reduces the booth's discernibility from the exterior during night operations — maintaining occupant safety while preserving night observation capability.
Evacuation Flap — Rear Wall Emergency Exit
A dedicated evacuation flap in the rear wall provides an emergency egress route for occupants in the event of an extreme attack scenario — allowing rapid exit from the booth to a covered withdrawal route without exposure to the primary threat axis.
Multi-Position Roof Hatch — Ventilation & Emergency Evacuation
The multi-position roof hatch serves dual functions depending on its set position: additional ventilation in conjunction with the installed ventilation system, and emergency evacuation via the roof in situations where the ground-level evacuation flap cannot be used.
Infrared Camera Surveillance — 24-Hour Coverage
Infrared cameras mounted on the roof provide 24-hour continuous observation of the external area surrounding the booth, allowing occupants to monitor approach routes, detect threats, and direct response without exposing themselves to direct observation or fire from the exterior.
Motion Detection — Human-Specific Response
Motion detectors are calibrated to react to human movement while filtering out small animal activity, eliminating false alerts from wildlife and vegetation movement while maintaining reliable detection of personnel approaching the booth perimeter.
Outdoor Roof Access Ladder
An outdoor ladder provides rapid climbing access to the booth roof for personnel requiring an elevated observation or firing position, for maintenance of roof-mounted systems, or for emergency evacuation via the roof hatch.
Loudspeaker — External Audio Warning
An integrated loudspeaker allows occupants to broadcast audio warnings to the external area without opening the booth or exposing personnel — supporting crowd management, vehicle stop commands, and threat warning functions from a fully protected position.
Radio Connection Preparation
The booth is prepared for radio communication system connection, with provisions for connecting different types of radio equipment according to the specific communications requirements of the deployment — maintaining command and control connectivity without requiring post-installation modification of the booth structure.
Full Interior Fitout — Furniture, Storage & Equipment
The booth interior is fully fitted with furniture including table, chairs, and bed for long-term occupancy comfort. Lockers for clothing and personal equipment, ammunition holders for multiple weapon types, and 220V 50Hz electrical outlets on all walls for connecting electronic devices complete the operational fitout. Interior walls are finished with painted metal plates or non-flammable lining material. A special ribbed floor covering prevents slip in wet conditions.
